the rough stone gets preformed in shape and proportions after a long and careful inspection of the experienced cutter.
it takes years of experience and special skills to execute this demanding challenge to this perfection.
after the preforming process the gemstone gets attached to a little wooden stick so that the cutter can start with the final cutting process.
all work is done free hand without any computerized machinery.
the table facet ( largest flat facet) gets cut and polished, thereafter the frontside gets cut and polished.
after the front is cut and polished, the gemstones backside gets his main facets,
all done freehand by the experienced eye of the master cutter.
the following rows of facets depends on the accuracy of the main facets,
that are cut first.
